The Botulinum toxin is a naturally occurring protein produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. YourHealthFirst Clinic administers three types of the type A toxin, depending on your needs:
– Botox (Vistabel)
– Dysport (Azzalure)
– Xeomin (Bocouture)

Botox injections are used for the treatment of frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines. It may also be used to treat bunny lines on the nose, lift the corners of the mouth, alleviate platysmal bands (turkey neck), bobbly chin and fine lines around the mouth.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

The effects of treatment last up to six months. Repeat injections are required to maintain your appearance. After several treatments, results begin to last longer. Therefore, repeat treatments may only be required every six months as part of a maintenance plan.
